How does the DrEats.com service work?
DrEats.com provides a unique marketing opportunity for restaurants. By signing up, your menu is digitized and entered into the DrEats.com online menu delivery system. Customers have the ability to compose and pay for their order online. Your restaurant will have its own private URL and we can even integrate with your existing website. Online reservations are coming in the near future. Please see our membership page to view all of the options that are available to members that are signed up with DrEats.com
My restaurant is listed, how did it get there?
Menus are sent to us from restaurant employees and your loyal customers that are users of
DrEats.com. If you have not signed up for DrEats.com yet, keep in mind that your listing is a
temporary listing and may be removed, in whole or in part, at any time. DrEats.com strives to
provide a complete database for our consumers, so restaurants that choose to not participate may
still have a listing with contact information and a brief description.
How do I make changes to a listing if I am not a member?
If you wish to make changes to your listing, [Sign Up] and update the listing through your account admin page. If you do not wish to become a member and want to make changes or remove your menu, please contact us and DrEats.com will gladly accommodate your request
What are the requirements to get online orders?
To receive your DrEats online orders, you must have a computer with internet service or fax
machine on the premises. The customer base for delivery and take-out food is people who
are pressed for time. Online ordering is simply the fastest and most effective way for them
to order food. A small investment in basic hardware is well worth it for you to be able to
appeal to your target market.
How do I get paid for orders that are placed online?
The customer’s order and credit card information are transmitted directly to you for processing.
How can I make sure that I do not miss an order?
If you are receiving orders via computer, be sure your computer is powered on, connected to the internet, and logged in to the Online Ordering System. Have the email program open and check incoming emails regularly. If orders are sent by fax, be sure your fax is online and operational. Be sure there is plenty of paper and toner and check for orders regularly. In the event that your fax machine is busy during DrEats’ first attempted transmission, our system will attempt to re-fax three times spaced at two minute intervals.
What if I have a web site already?
DrEats.com can help your restaurant grow. Unless a customer already knows that you will deliver to their location, they are not likely to come across your website. By adding your restaurant to DrEats.com, you are exposing your restaurant to consumers that know that DrEats.com offers a comprehensive targeted search specific for them. We can establish a PPC link to your existing site for customers to use your OOS or we can integrate your system with ours.
